Use the Dealer System Dealer Groups screen to create a dealer group, add and remove plans from dealer groups, add and remove dealers from dealer groups, edit a dealer group, search for dealer groups, and to view dealer groups.
If you have more than one dealer that will have the same plans associated with them, you can set up a dealer group. You can group dealers by state, the types of services offered, or any other criteria. Dealer groups allow you to place a number of dealers into a group and select plans that will automatically be associated with all the dealers put in that group. This allows you to change the plans for a large number of dealers quickly and effectively.
This screen allows you to:
•Add Dealers to a Dealer Group
•Remove a Dealer from a Dealer Group
•Remove Plans from a Dealer Group

Setting up Security
You must have proper security to access this screen and make changes to any dealer groups. Set up security using the following steps:
1.Access the Security > Setup screen in CIM GOLD.
2.Select the employee you want to set up security for in the Employees list view. (For more information on setting up employees in Security, see the Setting Up Security section in the CIM GOLD User's Guide on DocsOnWeb.)
3.Click the CIM GOLD tab.
4.Click the arrow next to Dealer System to reveal all the security in the Dealer System.
5.Select the Maintain radio button for Dealer Groups.
6.Click <Save Changes>.
