Collection/Contact list view tables
Three list view tables are visible at the bottom of the Collection/Contact tab. Click any of the list view tables to view more information:
This list view displays summary information concerning comments entered for this account. This list view displays the date, time, code, teller number, and description of the comment that was entered.
Information in this field may have a colored background, as it does in the example below. If so, it notifies you that a certain employee or type of employee set up this comment.
Background colors on comments are set up from the Queues > Collection > History Configuration screen.
If any employee generated a collection letter through the mail merge function on the Queues > Collection > Collection Queues screen, the CQML code will appear here with a description and date the letter was printed for this account.
Options
Please be aware of the following options that will affect what type of activity shows in this table:
Third-party Auto-dialer Comment Codes
CIM GOLD Collection Comments can interact with third-party dialer transmissions. For example, if your institution uses a third-party dialer system to automatically call and contact borrowers about delinquent accounts, a transmission from the third party can be sent to GOLDPoint Systems showing details of each call on the Collection Comments screen.
GOLDPoint Systems uses the transmission to update the Collection Comments with appropriate codes, teller number (9999), and follow-up dates. For example, if the dialer called the borrower and the borrower hung up, the dialer records those results and includes it in the transmission to GOLDPoint Systems.
At various times of the day the dialer can send GOLDPoint Systems transmissions with the details of each call. The transmission feeds into CIM GOLD, so collectors can see what efforts have already been made on the account.
GOLDPoint Systems can also return a file indicating the success of the transmission, as well as if any accounts where comments failed to post due to errors.
See the following example showing third-party dialer comments on the Collection Comments screen. In the example below, the codes used for dialer are:
DLMM – Dialer left message on answering machine. The system will also enter a Follow-up Date for two days after. DLMP – Dialer left message with person. The system will also enter a Follow-up Date for two days after. DLCL – Dialer call abandoned. This is for many reasons, such as busy signal, dropped, no answer, no dial tone, or disconnection. No Follow-up Date is processed with this code.
Note: The account must be part of a Collection Queue in order for the third-party dialer to include the dialer messages. If the account is not part of a Collection Queue, the account will be rejected and shown in the Exception file with the following message: "Collection Account (FPQA) record not found." For more information on how to build Collection Queues, see the following topics:

On the bottom-left of the Contact/Comments tab is the Action list view. This list view displays any action codes set up on this account. Action codes describe a future action and indicate that some manual action may be required on this loan on the action date. Ten action fields and their corresponding date fields are available for set up on the Loans > Account Information > Actions, Holds and Event Letters screen. See help for that screen for more information.
While most action codes and dates are entered by the institution, some are entered automatically by the system. Any actions applied to this account will be displayed in this list view.
Option: If you want action codes to also appear in the Comments History list view, you must have Institution Option ACCC (Action Code Writes Collection Comments) set to "Y." If this option is set to "Y," any time employees add or change action code information, the action code will appear in the Comments History list view displaying which action code was added or changed and the date the action was added or changed.
The Loan Action Needed Report (FPSRP025) is printed monthly to show a forecast of actions to be taken by the loan servicing department. This report lists the account number, action code, and action date. The accounts will begin to appear on the report, in most cases, three calendar monthends before the required action, using the current monthend as the starting point.
See the following example of this list view.

The Account Identifiers list view displays all account identifiers connected to this loan. Account Identifiers are set up for loans on the Loans > Account Information > Account Identifiers screen. The Account Identifiers list view appears to the right of the Action Codes Information list view and below the Comment History list view, as shown below:
Account identifier codes are used to identify an account that could be grouped or categorized in some way, as well as to alert someone viewing the account of a condition on an account.
These codes are not action codes, meaning that system-defined functions do not update, add, or remove these codes unless it is something that is specifically programmed for and updated for your institution. You could use these codes to create reports or for loan tracking purposes in GOLDWriter.
