Field

Description

Ignore Maturity Date

Mnemonic: WK01C1

The Ignore Maturity Date option affects which queue loans go into. If this box is checked, the system will ignore the maturity date when determining which queue to send the account. For example, if a loan is past due by seven months but last month the loan's maturity date was also reached, if this option is checked, the system would put the loan in the queue for loans that are 7 months past due and not the queue for loans past the maturity date. This option only affects those institutions that have a "loans past maturity" queue set up.

Show Delinquent and Recency Categories

Mnemonic: QOSDRC

Check this box if you want the account's delinquency category to appear in the table on the Promise Tracking screen. This table displays what the delinquency category was on the loan before payments were made and what the delinquency category was after payments were made during collection activities by employees.

Use Multiple Promise To Pays

Mnemonic: QOUMMP

If this option is checked, the <Multiple Promises> button will be enabled on the Contact tab of the Loans > Marketing and Collections screen and collectors will be able to enter more than one payment promise amount and date from the borrower.

See also the Promise To Pay Date Limit field below, which limits how far in advance employees can set follow-up dates.

The Loans > Promise Tracking and Employee Performance screens display the promises that were made, kept, or broken.

Payment Satisfies Promise Amount

Mnemonic: QOPEPA

this box is checked, the borrower must make a payment of at least as much as the amount entered in the Promise Amount field on the Contact tab of the Loans > Marketing and Collections screen in order for it to be counted as a kept promise. For example, if the Promise Amount field is $50 and the borrower makes a $5 payment, the transaction will not be counted as a kept promise. However, if the borrower made a $50 payment, the transaction would be counted as a kept promise. Additionally, the payment must be made on or before the Follow-Up Date or Date of Promise (if the borrower uses multiple promises to pay, see above) in order for it to be counted as a kept promise. However, the Use Promise To Pay Grace Days field below affects the Follow-Up Date or Date of Promise fields.

The Loans > Promise Tracking screen and Employee Performance screens display the promises that were made, kept, or broken.

Require Collection Comment Code

Mnemonic: QORCCC

Mark this box if you want to require a collection Comment Code to be entered before the account is considered completed when processing accounts through the Queues > Collections > Collection Queues screen. If a collection Comment Code has not been entered, an error message will appear. Collection Comment Codes are entered on the Contact tab of the Loans > Marketing and Collections screen.

Use Promise To Pay Grace Days

Mnemonic: QOPPGD

If this box is checked and a number is entered in the field to the right of this box, transactions made after the Follow-Up Date but within the number of days entered will count as a kept promise. For example, if this box is checked and "3" is entered in the field to the right, collectors have up to three days after the Follow-Up Date to get borrowers to make payments in order to have the payments count toward the collectors' promises kept totals. This also applies to multiple promises to pay (see above).

See also the Promise To Pay Date Limit field below, which limits how far in advance employees can set follow-up dates.

The Loans > Promise Tracking and Employee Performance screens display the promises that were made, kept, or broken in regards to collection efforts by employees when processing accounts through the Queues > Collection > Collection Queues screen.

Restrict Collector

Mnemonic: QOPPGD

Use this field to limit how collectors navigate through the Collection System in CIM GOLD. See below for more information.

Use Account Address for Mail Merge

Mnemonic: QONTAD

When this box is checked, the system uses the mailing address attached to the account for mail merge letters from the Queues > Collection > Collection Queues screen. If there is no mailing address but there is a physical address on the account, the system will use the physical address instead. If there is no mailing address (neither physical nor mailing), then the system will use the mailing address connected to the person. See below for more information.

Contact Queues Write Notes to Collection Comments

Mnemonic: QOCLCM

Check this box if you want the system to write a note in the Contact tab of the Loans > Marketing and Collections screen after you create and send a mail-merge letter to clients from the Queues > Contact Queues > Contact Queues screen. This note indicates that a mail-merge letter was sent to the account owner. The Collection Comments function is also accessed from Options > Show Collection Comments at the top of CIM GOLD. See below for examples.

Promise To Pay Date Limit

Mnemonic: QOPPDL

This field corresponds with the Use Multiple Promise To Pays field above. If you click the list icon jump and select a limit from this field, additional promises to pay cannot be made further into the future than what is selected in this field.

For example, if this option is set to "30 days," the collector cannot enter a date two months in the future for when the borrower promises to make a loan payment. This is only for multiple payments (click <Multiple Payments> on the Contact tab of the Loans > Marketing and Collections screen).

One-time Promise to Pay collections use the Follow-Up Date Limit option.

Using SQL Queues

Mnemonic: QOSQLQ

Mark this checkbox field if your institution is using SQL queues. This option improves afterhours performance by turning off certain host processes.

Contact GOLDPoint Systems for more information about SQL queues.
