Statement Advertising Messages are messages printed on account statements based on certain criteria specified in GOLDWriter. These messages are created in CIM GOLD and tied to statements using GOLDWriter. After set up in GOLDWriter and CIM GOLD, the host system generates specific messages for appropriate statements during the afterhours process.
This help guides you through the entire process of creating a statement advertising message in CIM GOLD, then creating the associated GOLDWriter report, and finally sending the information to the host to generate during afterhours.

Note: Advertising messages will not be included on account statements if the account has the Advertising Code field set to "0 - Do Not Advertise." The Advertising Code field is found on many screens in CIM GOLD, including the CIF tab on the Loans > Marketing and Collections screen. |

Steps to create a message in CIM GOLD:
1.To create a new advertising message or to modify/delete an existing advertising message, open CIM GOLD.
2.Access the Miscellaneous > Advertising Messages > Advertising Message screen, and complete a new message.
3.Assign your message a priority using the Miscellaneous > Advertising Messages > Priority Message Definition screen.
4.Find the GOLDWriter Title.
5.Create the GOLDWriter Report for your advertising message.
6.Run the Install Report as Host Selection.
