Attached Files list view properties

Files in the list view on the Attached Files screen can be organized and displayed in various properties which are explained on this help page.

 

By right-clicking on any column header in the list view, a drop-down menu of checkboxes appears (as shown below) which allows the user to select which properties will display on the screen. Click on any column header to organize the list view by that column's category.

The columns in this list view are as follows:

 

Preferences Column Heading

Description

File ID

Each file, when added to the database, is assigned a unique ID number that it retains throughout its lifetime in the database (even if the file is renamed).

File Name        

The current name of the selected file, which is initially determined on the Attach Files screen.

Linked To

The type of customer record(s) (such as Loan, Customer, Lender, or Deposit) linked to the selected file, which is initially determined on the Attach Files screen. You can change the filter applied to the list view by selecting a customer record type from the drop-down menu that appears by clicking the arrow in this column.

Category

The Category of the selected file, which is initially determined on the Attach Files screen. If the Category properties desired are not available, new properties can be created on the Manage Categories screen.

Subcategory

The Subcategory of the selected file, which is initially determined on the Attach Files screen. If the Subcategory properties desired are not available, new properties can be created on the Sub-Categories screen.

File Type

The File Type of the selected file, which is initially determined on the Attach Files screen. If the File Type properties desired are not available, new properties can be created on the File Types screen.

Retention 1

The number of months to retain the selected file in the system after the first retention event for the category occurs. Retention events are defined on the Manage Categories screen.

Retention 2

The number of months to retain the selected file in the system after the second retention event for the category occurs. Retention events are defined on the Manage Categories screen.

File Size

The size, in kilobytes, of the selected file.

Date Uploaded

The date that the selected file was added to the database.

Last Updated

The most recent date that a change was made to the selected file.

Date Dropped

The date that the selected file was deleted. If the file has not been deleted, this date shows as 01/01/0001.
