Navigation: Customer Relationship Management > Customer Relationship Management Screens > Households Screen >
Use the Accounts tab on the Households screen (or on the Customer Info tab of the Customer Relationship Management > Customer Profile screen) to view and edit information about accounts that are related to the selected household. Accounts are tied to households when loans are boarded through GOLDTrak PC, GOLD Loan Gateway, or GOLD AcquirePlus.
The list view at the top of this tab displays all accounts connected to the selected household. You cannot add or create new accounts from this tab, even though there is a <Create New> button at the bottom of the screen (see Note below) Instead, accounts are automatically entered onto this tab when they are boarded during loan origination or through GOLDTeller Platform (for deposit accounts). However, you can change information connected to a selected account in the list using the fields on this tab, then clicking <Save Changes>.
Certain statements and options determine whether account addresses are used for mailings, as opposed to the addresses listed on the Names tab (see Physical/Mailing Address on the Names tab). Borrowers can have different addresses set up for accounts then what they have connected to their name. For example, a business account may have certain addresses connected to the account, but the person connected to that business may have different addresses connected to their name. The Move To field group on the Addresses tab can help you quickly move addresses from account to name, or vice versa.
A secondary address for account owners can be indicated by clicking the blue Secondary Address link on the bottom of this tab (see more information in the table below).
Note: If your institution boards loans the old way by initializing new loans and running the Open Loan transaction in CIM GOLDTeller, you can then add that account to this household by clicking <Create New> and entering information in the fields on this screen. However, most clients do not originate loans this way. See the How to Initialize a Loan topic for more information. |
