If you click <Show Origination> from the Loans > Account Information > Additional Loan Fields screen, the Loan Origination Tracking dialog box is displayed, as shown below. This dialog box allows you to view details of the loan from when it was originated.
Loans > Account Information > Additional Loan Fields Screen, then click <Show Origination>
You can't change much information on this screen. It is established when the loan is boarded and funded. You can change the Promotion and Referral fields, if your institution uses those fields. These fields are for informational purposes only and are used in reports, such as a GOLDMiner report. See the Loans > System Setup Screen > Promotions for more information.

Mnemonic variable depending on payment method |
This is the amount financed. If the payment method (LNPMTH) for the loan is 3 (precomputed loans), then the amount financed is pulled from the Amount Financed (OTAFIN) field found on the Loans > Original Loan Disclosure screen in CIM GOLD.
For all other payment methods besides payment method 3, the amount financed is calculated as follows:
Original Balance (LNOBAL) - (fee at 8 percent amount (OTPC8A) + fee at 4 percent amount (OTPC4A) + maintenance fee amount (OTMNTA)). |
