Certain institution options can control monetary transactions, statements, late charges, and reserve disbursements in CIM GOLD. If your institution wants to enable any of the following options, please submit a work order with GOLDPoint Systems. |
•When a bankruptcy transaction is run, regular loan payments require a supervisor override before payments can be posted. EZPay payments from your website are restricted completely. However, if institution option BKPM is set, the following transactions can be posted without an override: oPayments (tran code 600/608) oPartial Payments (tran code 510/518 to field 33) oTeller Spread Payments (690/698) oWaive Late Charge (tran code 570/578) oPay Late Charge (tran code 550/558) oWaive Miscellaneous Fee (tran code 670/678) oPay Loan Fee (tran code 850/858) oVSI Add Insurance (tran code 870/878) oVSI Cancel Insurance (tran code 890/898) oAssess Miscellaneous Fees (tran code 660/668) |
•APCO - Accept Payments on Charge-offs. If this option is used, payments will be accepted on charge-offs. |
•BKLC - Keep Late Charges on Bankruptcy. If this option is used, unpaid late charges will not be deleted when the Bankruptcy transaction is processed. |
•KLLT - Keep Life of Loan Late Charges. If this option is used, the life of loan late charges will not be deleted when the Bankruptcy transaction is processed. |
•UCBB - Update Credit Bureau on Bankruptcy. If this option is used, the CIID code from the bankruptcy record will be sent in the Base Segment of the Credit Report and transmission (FPSRP184). Note: This option should usually be set up for your institution. This reports that the account is included in a bankruptcy. This is not the person or company. |
•LTBK - Do Not Assess Late Charges on Chapter 13. If this option is used, late charges will not be assessed while the account is in Chapter 13 bankruptcy (hold code 5). |
•STBK - Stop All Billing Statements on Bankrupt Loans. If this option is used, billing statements will be stopped if the account has a hold code 4 (Chapter 7, 11, 12) or 5 (Chapter 13). |
•FMBK - If this option is set, users can file maintain certain key fields on the Bankruptcy record, such as the Bankruptcy Chapter, Case, and Date Bankruptcy Filed, after a bankruptcy transaction has been run. |
•CROB - If this option is set and Bankruptcy Chapter 7 is applied to an account, the loan interest rate (LNRATE) is cleared. |
•ARBK - When this option is set, the system will allow recency updating on accounts in bankruptcy (Hold Code 4 or 5). However, recency will not be updated if the account is charged off (Hold Code 2). |
