This list view at the top of the Reserve Analysis Update Review screen displays information about reserve analyses processed by your institution. This list view can be filtered by effective date using the Analysis Effective Date field.

 

The columns in this list view are as follows:

 

Analysis Date:

This is the date a loan will be updated to change its reserve payments, effective dates, etc. This date is determined by your institution on the Loans > Account Information > Reserves > Reserve Analysis screen. The Last Analysis Date on that screen becomes this date when the update is processed. Note: You can set up an option that determines whether the analysis processing occurs after or before non-processing days using the Loans > Account Information > Reserves > Reserve Analysis Options screen.

 

Effective Date:

This is the analysis effective date. All loans in this update record will have the same effective date. This date is determined by your institution on the Reserve Analysis screen. This record will be automatically deleted the night of the update after the update file maintenance has been processed. The reserve update records will automatically be deleted on the night of the analysis Effective Date (the actual date the new loan payment becomes effective). Example: Update records are created on 04/19 with an Effective Date of 05/01. The night of 05/01, all update records are deleted, regardless of whether a loan is delinquent or prepaid.

 

Record Count:

This is a running record count of all reserve analyses processed by your institution.

 

Surplus Count:

This is the number of times an account has had a surplus in the reserve balance.

 

Surplus:

This is the amount of the surplus which will be refunded either by check or by lowering the payment. This value is determined by your institution on the Reserve Analysis screen. WARNING: The Surplus Amount field on the that screen is used to create the surplus checks.

 

Deficiency Count:

This is the number of times an account has had a deficiency in the reserve balance.

 

Deficiency:

This is the deficiency in the reserve account. It is the actual amount the reserve balance is below zero. This amount will be collected from the customer based on information entered on the Reserve Analysis screen.
