Alert Definitions Tab
Use the Alert Definitions tab to view, edit, and set up definitions for alerts. You can also determine whether the alert is able to be overridden.

This list view displays all of the alert definitions that have been set up. Clicking on an alert in this list view displays the details of that alert in the Alert Definition Detail fields below.
This list view contains the following columns which can be used to sort: •Number: Displays the number of the alert definition. This number is assigned by the system as the alert definition is created. •Description: Displays a description of the alert. •Override Level: Displays the level at which an override can occur (Message, Override, No Override). |

Type the description of the alert into this field. Make sure to be very specific and tie the description of the alert to its purpose. |

Select an override level (Message, Override, No Override) from the drop-down list. Note: If you select "No Override," the system will not allow anyone to override the alert. |

Click this button to create a new alert definition. Once you click this button, you will be able to access the Alert Definition Detail fields on this tab to create a new alert definition. |
