Security to use this screen is set up on the Security > Setup screen. You can set up employees or profiles to use this screen. This is an administrative screen, so security should be restricted to only allow administrators.
For your institution to use the Check Format Setup screen, the screen must first be subscribed to using the Security > Subscribe to Mini-Applications screen.
1.Access the Security > Subscribe to Mini-Applications screen. 2.Check the box under Loans > Check Printing > Check Format Setup screen. 3.Click <Save Changes>.
That screen will now appear in the left tree-navigation of CIM GOLD if the user has security, as described below. |
Employees can be set up with their own security or profile security to use the Check Format Setup screen.
To set up security for an individual employee:
1.Access the Security > Setup screen. 2.Make sure the Employees radio button is selected. 3.Uncheck the Display Effective Security box. 4.Select the User Name in the list view table for whom you want to set up security to the Checks screen. 5.Click the CIM GOLD tab. 6.Select the Maintain radio button for Loans > Check Printing > Check Format Setup screen. 7.Click <Save Changes>.
To set up security for a profile:
1.Access the Security > Setup screen. 2.Make sure the CIM GOLD Profile radio button is selected. 3.Uncheck the Display Effective Security box. 4.Select the Profile Name in the list view table for whom you want to set up security to the Checks screen. 5.Click the CIM GOLD tab. 6.Select the Maintain radio button for Loans > Check Printing > Check Format Setup screen. 7.Click <Save Changes>.
When the employee logs into CIM GOLD, they will see the Loans > Check Printing > Check Format Setup screen as one of the available screens to use in CIM GOLD. |
