Commercial Loans screens in CIM GOLD are used to handle your institution's property management needs for commercial loans. Use this tab to view and edit information about the expenses involved in the management and upkeep of the selected commercial loan property. This tab is primarily used for informational purposes.

 

The list view on this tab displays all expenses previously designated for the commercial loan property. To remove an expense from this list, right-click the expense in the list and select "Drop Expense Item(s)."

 

 

To add expenses to this list, click <New Expense> and then use the fields at the bottom of this tab to indicate expense information. Use the Available Expenses field to select an expense category, enter an Expense Amount for the expense, indicate the Frequency at which the expense is incurred, then click <Add Expense>.

 

Expense categories must be set up on the Manage Expense Categories dialog (shown below) before they can be selected in the Available Expenses field. To access this dialog, click <Manage Expense Categories> at the bottom of this tab. To create a new expense on this dialog, simply click <New Category>, enter a unique Code number and a basic Description for the expense, and click <Add Category>. The newly created expense will appear in the list view on this dialog and be available for selection in the Available Expenses field.
