Use this field to indicate the scheduled foreclosure sale date on the customer loan account. This field is automatically populated when one of the Sale of Security transactions is run. See the following topics in the Transactions manual for more information on those transactions:

Sale of Security transaction (tran code 2510-03)

Sale of Security with Taxes (tran code 2510-06)

Sale of Security for Cards (tran code 2510-09)

Sale of Security Full Write-off (tran code 2510-12)

For Institution 362 Only

The Sale of Security transaction must be run before the Charge-off transaction can be run. Once an employee runs the Sale of Security transaction for a loan with General Category 89, the employee can then successfully run the Charge-Off transaction for that loan.

If the Sale of Security transaction is not run first, an error message will be displayed and the Charge-off transaction will not process.

Before a general category 89 can be applied to the loan, it must first have General Category 81 (Repossessed – Non-Real Estate Property) or 85 (Repossessed Assets). Running the Repossession transaction (tran code 2203-00) automatically flags the account with one of those General Categories.

Currently this option is only programmed for one institution. If your institution would like to implement this option, contact GOLDPoint Systems or submit a work order.
