Use this screen to create, view, and edit information about collateral attached to the customer loan account.

The list view at the top of this screen displays all collateral items that have previously been set up for the customer loan account. The information displayed in this list view corresponds directly to information entered in the fields on this screen. To filter the results displayed in the list, use the Search VIN#, Search Serial#, and Search Property radio buttons to indicate the type of collateral being searched, enter a search phrase in the adjacent text box, and click <Search>. Additionally, the Filter By Promotion field group (see table below) can be used to filter this list view by promotion (if the the customer loan account is a card loan).

To create a collateral item (and add it to the list view), click <Create New>, enter information in the fields on this screen, then click <Save Changes>. To edit an existing collateral item, select an item in the list view to populate the fields on this screen with that item's information. The fields will then be available for editing (with the exception of Collateral Type). Collateral items can be deleted by selecting them in the list view and clicking <Delete>.

This screen's appearance changes according to the selected Collateral Type being created, viewed, or edited (see information about the Collateral Type field in the table below). If the Collateral Type is:

Auto, Personal Property, Power Sports, or Outdoor Power Equipment, this screen appears as shown on the Collateral Detail Screen: Auto/Personal Property help page.

Real Estate Property, this screen appears as shown on the Collateral Detail Screen: Real Estate Property help page.

Home Improvement, this screen appears as shown on the Collateral Detail Screen: Home Improvement help page.

See the help pages linked above for more information about the links and fields unique to each version of this screen.

There are two blue text links at the bottom of every version this screen:
