System-Wide Advertising Message suffixes
Advertising Codes are used to pair advertising messages with specific statement or notice types. Each code number has two parts. The first two digits, the prefix, define the type of statement or notice. Prefixes are explained on the Advertising Code help topic. The next four digits, the suffix, provide the system with further categorization. If your institution prefers to assign Advertising Messages according to customer account statement types, then the Advertising Code field needs to be filled depending on the account statement type as follows:

The message number used is the Advertising Code field on the Customer Relationship Management > Households screen > Addresses tab. The system uses this message to print on statements. |

For example, if your institution prefers that one message be printed for all savings statements, the Advertising Code entered would be “033333.” This indicates to the system that the message in the Advertising Message field is for all savings account statements.
See the Advertising Message Institution Options help page to learn more about the institution options that enable the advertising message feature. See Message Examples for examples of different kinds of advertising messages that could be set up on this screen.
