If the dealer being created/edited on this screen has an alternative name or a parent company name, enter that name in this field.

EIN

Mnemonic: DLSSN1

Use this field to indicate the Employer Identification Number (EIN) for the dealer being created/edited on this screen.

Ownership Type

Mnemonic: DLOTYP

Use this field to indicate the type of ownership for the dealer being created/edited on this screen. Possible selections in this field are “Corporation,” “Partnership,” and “Sole Proprietor.”

Recourse Dealer

Mnemonic: DLRECO

Use this field to indicate whether the dealer being created/edited is responsible for recovering outstanding debts from borrowers through their own recourse. If this field is left blank, your institution is responsible for tracking down outstanding debts (repossession, collections, etc).

Process Decisioning/Only During Off-Hours

Mnemonic: DLRECO/DLPDOH

Use this field to indicate whether the dealer being created/edited is allowed to make application decisions for loans processed through your institution. If this field is left blank, loan applications made by borrowers at the dealer will need to be authorized by someone at your institution.

If the Process Decisioning field is marked, the Only During Off-Hours field becomes available for file maintenance. Mark this field to indicate that, while loan officers at your institution must process loan application decisions during business hours, authorized persons at the selected dealer are allowed to process decisions during your institution's off hours.
