User Alerts field group

Use this field group to view and edit criteria for alerts sent to specified remote banking users when certain activity occurs on their accounts. For example, when a profile becomes restricted because the allowed number of invalid login attempts has been exceeded, an alert can be sent to the e-mail address associated with the profile.

 

This field group appears on all three tabs of the User tab and can be used to define alerts for all three user types: Personal (the remote banking user), Company (an institution's administrators), and Sub-User (other employees at an institution who access company accounts).

Use the fields in this field group to indicate whether alerts are sent in the following conditions:

 

Field

Description

Bill Payer Scheduled by Anyone

 

Mnemonic: SIBPSA

An alert is sent when a bill payment is scheduled in Bill Pay by a user that has access to shared accounts.

Email Address Changed

 

Mnemonic: SIEMCG

An alert is sent when an e-mail address is changed by a user.

Login Name Changed

 

Mnemonic: SILGCG

An alert is sent when a login name is changed by a user.

Login Restricted

 

Mnemonic: SILGRS

An alert is sent when the Restricted Login field on the Internet and Phone Systems > User Profile screen is marked for a user by your institution.

Login Restricted Removed

 

Mnemonic: SILGUN

An alert is sent when the Restricted Login field on the Internet and Phone Systems > User Profile screen screen is unmarked for a user by your institution.

Password was Changed

 

Mnemonic: SIPWCG

An alert is sent when a user's password is changed.

Restricted for Password Violation

 

Mnemonic: SILRPW

An alert is sent when a login name becomes restricted because the allowed number of invalid login attempts has been exceeded. The number of incorrect password attempts allowed is determined on the Internet and Phone Systems > Setup > Security Options screen.

Turn Off All Alerts

 

Mnemonic: SIAOFF

Mark this field to turn off all alerts tied to a login name and hide the alerts option for any remote banking user.

When Logged In

 

Mnemonic: SIALOG

An alert is sent when someone successfully logs on the Web with a user’s login name and password.
