POC Notice/Payment Address field groups
Use these two field groups to indicate the creditor contact information to which Notices and Payments regarding customer bankruptcy filings should be addressed. The information entered in these field groups will be included in relevant bankruptcy and claim forms.
Use the field beneath these field groups to indicate the Uniform claim identifier number used for electronic Chapter 13 payments.
Mark the Use Home Office radio buttons (mnemonic BINUHO/BIDHOP) to automatically populate the other fields in these field groups with default office information from the GOLD Services > Office Information screen. Mark the Use Branch Office radio buttons (mnemonic BINUBO/BIDHBP) to automatically populate the fields in these field groups with branch office information from the Office Information screen (if applicable at your institution). Otherwise, mark the Use Other Address radio buttons (mnemonic BINUOT/BIDHOT) to enter contact information manually.
If the Use Institution Name field (mnemonic BINUIN/BIPUIN) is marked, the institution name (as pulled from the Office Information screen) will appear on Notice and/or Payment name fields on the Proof of Claim form (regardless of what is entered in the Name field). This means that the home address, branch address, or other address can still be used, but with the institution’s name. Before this option was made available, if the home, branch, or other name was selected for POC notices, those names would print instead. See the example below of how this option affects POC forms:
Use Institution Name is marked under POC Notice Address but not under POC Payment Address
On the POC, the institution's name appears in the Notice Name, but the Payment Address name appears as indicated because Use Institution Name was not marked under POC Payment Address.
Other mnemonics in these field groups: BINNAM, BIPMNM, BINADR, BIADD1, BINCTY, BICITY, BINZIP, BIZIPC, BINZP4, BIZIP4, BINPHA, BINPHP, BINPHO, BIPHAC, BIPHPF, BIPHON, BINEML, BIEMAD, BIEPNM.
