Limit Calculations field group
Use this field group to view and edit limit information for the customer line-of-credit (LOC) loan account.
To learn more about how LOC loans function, see the Line-of-Credit Loan Information help page.
The fields in this field group are as follows:
Field |
Description |
||
Mnemonic: LNNLOC |
This field indicates whether the loan is a non-revolving LOC loan. This field can be file maintained in the Options field group. |
||
Mnemonic: LNRLCL |
Use this field to indicate the total amount of the line-of-credit loan which will be used as a ceiling for the principal balance (if the customer account is secured against a deposit account, then the lower amount of the original balance or the calculated security Pledge becomes the ceiling for the principal). If the customer loan account is not a line-of-credit loan, use this field to indicate the maximum balance the loan can be increased.
Report Writer and GOLDWriter mnemonic LNUNDISB can be used to display the undisbursed balance for either LIP or payment method 5 loans. This mnemonic gives you the ability to display the undisbursed amounts for both LIP or payment method 5 loans in the same column. For LIP loans, the mnemonic will display the LIP undisbursed balance. The LIP method code must be greater than 0.
For payment method 5 loans, undisbursed/available amounts are calculated as follows:
For revolving line-of-credit loans: Line of Credit Limit - Principal Balance = Remaining Line (undisbursed amount)
For non-revolving line-of-credit loans: Line of Credit Limit - Total Amount Used = Remaining Line (undisbursed amount)
|
||
Mnemonic: LNRLCU |
If the Non-Revolving field is marked, use this field to indicate the total amount of advances make on the loan. If the Non-Revolving field is left blank, this field displays the amount of the principal balance. |
||
Mnemonic: N/A |
This field displays the difference between the Line of Credit Limit and Total Amount Used fields. A special Report Writer mnemonic (LNUNDISB) calculates this amount. |
