The File Services Plus Transfer Service allows for files to be uploaded and stored on a secondary database if an institution wants the ability to back up its data.

The following fields are found in this field group on the Settings screen. They are used to establish the parameters required for the Transfer Service option to function properly:

| Use Transfer Service | Use this field to indicate whether your institution is using a transfer service. Do not mark this field until you have properly set up your database with representatives from GOLDPoint Systems. Marking this field will make the other fields in this field group file maintainable. | 
| Transfer Service Connection String | Use this field to indicate how your institution's primary File Services Plus server will connect with the backup server. Your GOLDPoint Systems representative will help your institution determine what should be entered in this field. | 
| User Name | Use this field to indicate the username that will be used when logging on to the backup server from the primary server. | 
| Password | Use this field to indicate the password that will be used when logging on to the backup server from the primary server. | 
| Start Time, End Time | Use these fields to indicate the hours of the day when backup posting is allowed. Ideally, a time period should be selected that doesn't coincide with an institution's busy data processing hours. | 
| Test Connection | Clicking this button will test the connection between the primary and secondary servers using the current settings. A pop-up message will appear either reporting a successful connection or describing any error preventing a successful connection. |
