This field displayed the original interest rate of the loan at the time the loan was opened. This interest rate does not change if the current interest rate changes. However, in the rare event that changes due need to be made to this field, you must have proper security clearance.

 

Note: To restrict this field from being file maintainable, check the LNORTE - Original Rate box under Record Type CFLN (Loan Master) on the Loans > System Setup Screens > Field Level Security screen.
