The IRS 1098 Interest Adjustments field group on the Loans > Account Information > Account Detail screen contains information about interest adjustments for the account.

 

 

The Year Interest Adjustment Was Reported field indicates the year the interest adjustment is to be reported to the IRS.

 

The Amount of Interest Adjustment field indicates the amount of the interest adjustment for the year in the Year Interest Adjustment Was Reported field.

 

Neither of these fields are blanked out at year-end. Both of these fields can only be used in the current year of the adjustment. Both of these fields are user-defined. At year-end, this information will be entered on the 1098 Form that GOLDPoint Systems generates.
