Interest Rate Rolling Report (FPSDR053)

Availability

This report should be run daily in the afterhours.

 

Purpose

The Interest Rate Rolling Report provides a list of all account for which a 1940 00 transaction has occurred. A 1940 00 transaction rolls rates on accounts in the afterhours. Only open accounts are selected for this report.

 

The following information is displayed for each account selected for the report any time an account had a rate change based on an effective date or balancing tiering.

 

Account number

Short name of account owner

Household number in which account resides

Product code

Current interest rate

Previous interest rate

Rate offset

Bonus rate

Bonus rate expiration date

Rate pointer

Tier pointer

 

The report is typically sorted by account number.

Column

Description

Account Number

This is the office number (DMACTO), account number (DMACTA), and check digit (DMCKDG) for the account.

Short Name

This is the IRS owner's short name for the account taken from the CIF System (SHNAME).

Household Number

This is the household number in which this account resides taken from the CIF System (MNHHLD).

Prod Code

This is the product code used for this account taken from the Product Code field (DMPDCD) on the Deposit Master Fields screen (function 1/2).

Current Int Rate

This is the current interest rate on the account, after the rate change has occurred.

Previous Int Rate

This is the previous rate on the account, which is the interest ratebefore the rate change occurred.

Rate Offset

This is the rate offset or margin used when calculating a new interest rate. It may be a positive or negative value.  When a value for the new interest rate is calculated, this field is added to it to come up with the new interest rate.  This information is taken from the Rate Offset field (DMROFF) on the Deposit Interest Fields screen (function 9/10).

Bonus Rate

This is the bonus rate, if any, on this account, taken from the Bonus Rate field (DMBNRT) on the Deposit Interest Fields screen (function 9/10).

Bonus Exp Date

This is the bonus rate expiration date on this account. This is the date on which the bonus rate, if any, will expire. This information is taken from the Bonus Exp Dt field (DMBNDT) on the Deposit Interest Fields screen (function 9/10).

Rate Ptr

This is the rate pointer used on this account to tell the system where to get the new interest rate as an account matures. It may also tell the system which accounts need to have their interest rate changed as a new rate effective date expires in the rate table, or on tiering with balance changes. This information is taken from the Rate Pointerfield (DMRPTR) on the Deposit Interest Fields screen (function 9/10).

Tier Ptr

This is the tier pointer used on this account to tell the system which tier to pull from the tier table as new tiers are made effective. This is only valid if the account uses a variable tier. If this is changed, a new rate will be calculated based on the rate pointer and the rate offset. This information is taken from the Tier Pointer field (DMTPTR) on the Deposit Interest Fields screen (function 9/10).
