Availability
This report is run any frequency the institution may desire. It is generally run weekly but you may consult your customer service representative if you want to schedule this report differently.
Purpose
The Accounts Closed Tonight report will show all checking accounts that were closed this processing day where all outstanding checks have taken the balance to zero. For example, if you run the report weekly all of the accounts closed in the week prior to the run date will be shown.
The report can be sorted using the standard options listed in Appendix B.

Description |
---|---|
Account Number |
This is the office number (DMACTO), account number (DMACTA), and check digit (DMCKDG) for the account. |
Short Name |
This is the short name of the IRS owner of the account taken from the CIF System (SHNAME). |
Household Number |
This is the household number in which this account resides taken from the CIF System (MNHHLD). |
Hold Codes |
There are 12 possible hold codes for a single account, however, only 11 hold codes per account can be displayed on the report. These codes are taken from the Hold/Action Codes screen (function 11/12). |
Account Balance |
This is the current balance of the account taken from the Current Balance field (DMCRBL) on the Deposit Master Fields screen (function 1/2). |
Status |
This indicates the current status of the account; i.e., open, closed, inactive, dormant, drop. |
Totals and Subtotals Provided
Subtotals are provided by office number for:
•Total number of accounts read
•Total number of accounts closing
The total number of accounts read for the report and the total number of accounts closing tonight are also provided. If other subtotals are desired, consult your customer service representative.
