Go To Screen

Select this function to open the Enter Screen ID dialog (shown below). Use this screen to indicate the ID number of the CIM GOLD screen you wish to view.

CIM GOLD screen ID numbers can be found in the bottom-right corner of the screen. CIM GOLD screens can also be searched for by name (see General Navigation Information for more information).

Delete Internal Cache

Select this function to delete the current cache file. Refreshing the page or exiting CIM GOLD automatically executes this function.

Delete Cache Files

Select this function to automatically delete the cache file on your local machine. CIM GOLD's cache file saves data from the host computer that is fairly constant (such as codes for lookup tables, transaction descriptions, etc). Saving information to a cache file speeds up response time and allows CIM GOLD to run faster than accessing accounts in GOLDVision. Once cache file information is deleted, information will be reloaded from the host computer. Generally, this function need only be run after security changes or option changes or as instructed by GOLDPoint Systems personnel.

Selecting this function will upload current host information for various data (CIM GOLD automatically does this once a day). No confidential data is stored in a CIM GOLD cache file.

Refresh URL

Select this function to refresh the URL directory, which contains definitions of all records and fields used within the host.

GOLDTeller

Select this function to close/terminate an active session of GOLDTeller or change its file directories. The File Directories dialog (shown below) allows you to indicate the Server Name and Path on server for the Goldtllr.dat, Opers.dat, Journal, and Platform files. Platform

Select this function to start, stop, or terminate a session of Platform. See the GOLDTeller Platform User's Guide for more information about Platform.

Get Host Statistics

Select this function to open the Host Statistics dialog (shown below). The Host Statistics dialog displays general information about the computer terminal using CIM GOLD. It also displays various response time fields, including Fastest, Slowest, Difference, and Average. Clicking the <Refresh> button will cause the system to reload the dialog and display current data for that terminal. This function can be used to help troubleshoot problems with CIM GOLD.

Change Working Set

Select this function to toggle between different modes of CIM GOLD: Production, Monthend, Testing, and Archive. Production is the live file, and changing fields in this mode will change live records and can be used for reporting and research. Monthend mode displays live files as of the last day of the previous month. No file maintenance is allowed. Testing mode is a test file for your institution, and changes are saved in test files and not on live accounts. Each institution has a default test set of 1. Archived records can be viewed but not adjusted.

Change Client Number

Select this function to toggle between different client numbers. Possible numbers are General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Payroll.

Exit

Select this function to close CIM GOLD.
