Normally, PO Box numbers can be entered in CIM GOLD physical address fields. Use this screen if your institution wants to prevent PO Box numbers from being entered in CIM GOLD physical address fields.
Loans > System Setup Screens > PO Box Screen
To use this screen:
•Click <Create New> and use the PO Box field to indicate an iteration of the phrase "PO Box." Possible examples include PO Box, P.O. Box, POBox, Post Office Box, P O Box, POB, etc.
•Repeat as necessary for every iteration of the phrase "PO Box" your institution's customers or employees could use when entering address information in CIM GOLD.
Once phrases are indicated and appear in the list view on this screen, The system will display an error message any time a phrase from the list view is used in physical address fields.
Mailing address fields in CIM GOLD always accept PO Box numbers and are unaffected by this screen.
In order to use this screen, your institution must:
•Subscribe to System Setup Screens on the Security > Subscribe To Mini-Applications screen.
•Set up employees and/or profiles with either Inquire (read-only) or Maintain (edit) security for System Setup Screens on the CIM GOLD tab of the Security > Setup screen. |
