GOLDPoint Systems Only: There are three miscellaneous options for adjusting messages for a missing security access record. These options can be set up by typing a “Y” (yes) in one of the first three misc opts fields in the report setup. The changes for these options are listed below:

Option 1 – When set to “Y,” this option causes the report to not print information for good records, operators will not get a message on the console asking them to leave the on-call programmer a message, and the message to contact GOLDPoint Systems for more information will not be on the report.

Option 2 – When set to “Y,” operators won’t get the message on the console.

Option 3 – When set to “Y,” this will cause the report to print the good records, operators will not get a message on the console, and messages about the corrupt record and calling GOLDPoint Systems for details will not be on the report.

Security Access Records

When a change is made to the security access in the Security Management System (Application 19) for an employee, four security access records are written to GOLDPoint Systems. The records display information on the changes that were made. The first two records contain information before the change, and the last two records contain information after the change. All four records are required to calculate the changes and put them in the report. If one of these records is inaccurate or missing, the program won’t be able to understand the changes, and you will receive an error message on the report resembling the one below:

04-01-01 10.44.49 DOE CAUSED A CORRUPT SECURITY ACCESS RECORD FOR EMPLOYEE NUMBER 177

This message displays the date and time the security access change was made, the user name who changed it, and the employee that it affects. The program will also write out a file containing the good records that were found. This file will usually be available for a few days after the incident occurred, allowing GOLDPoint Systems to research what options were changed. If this file is created, the following message will be displayed:
