Purpose
The Fifty-Nine and One-Half Report lists deposit retirement account holders who have reached the age of 59½. These account holders are eligible to begin taking disbursements from their retirement accounts without any penalty. This report selects only those retirement account holders whose ages are 59½. Retirement account holders who are 70½ will appear on the Seventy and One-Half Report, FPSDR065.
A warning will be printed on the report if a retirement account has no name and address associated with it, or the account holder's birthday is unknown.
The report will allow sorting by Social Security number. A suggested sort would be by branch, birth date, account number, and Social Security number. The report will also allow sorting by birth date. The birth date would be printed in the format CCYYMMDD, where CC is the century, YY is the year, MM is the month, and DD is the date; i.e. 19580115, would be January 15, 1958.
