Credit Reporting Update > Header/Trailer Record Changes

The Header and Trailer records have been updated to better reflect data contained in the Credit Report and transmission (FPSRP184). The following changes have been made:

•We changed the information in Reporter Address (Header Record Field 13) from "ATTN SCOTT HOWELL" to "ATTN OPERATIONS" with phone number 801-429-2150.

•We now populate Software Version Number (Header Record Field 16) with the version number of the Credit Report Transmission program generated by GOLDPoint Systems. Previously, we left that field blank.

•We corrected a problem where the system was not counting Social Security numbers, date of birth, and phone numbers correctly in the Base, J1, and J2 segments, and was putting an erroneous value in the Reserved field (Trailer Record Field 4). This is now reported as blank/zero.

•In the Totals section of the Trailer Record, we now also show total status codes for DF (Delete entire account due to fraud), DA (Delete account), and 88 (claim filed with government for insured portion).
